fixing cracked screen. is it worth it

Have a cracked screen on a moto g phone and wondering is it best just to repair the screen or buy a new one. Firstly, how much is a new screen and where to buy them.

The front screen is cracked and i can only see half the images when phone trned on, all the rest is black!

Im confident i could take the phone apart and put a new screen in but its the cost of a new screen is worrying me.

I think thats just the glass front and not the actual screen

IMHO, you're better replacing the whole front assembly.

It should be quicker, and easier. Also, you said that half the screen is black, when switched on

Coz if its just glass crack you would still see the content on lcd...seems lcd is gone....
