Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody on here know what kind of notice period needs to be given to a travelling team to play on astro? Have a match tomorrow and in the last half hour we have been told to bring suitable footwear for astro...not sure why? Weather is dry, grass pitches are fine

I was talking to another manager who visited this team before on the day to be told the game was on astro and his players weren't prepared with suitable footwear and refused to play and the game was re-fixed but cant find info anywhere

umm astro pitches have rules no studs, not sure what part of country you are in.

but if playing on astro....no studs is kinda rule on all of them.

Some have that rule, but a lot of them don't.

He is asking about the notice period that would need to be given to an away team that they will be playing on astro, not whether it is a rule or not.

At schoolboy level we were advised at least 24 hours notice given. That was about two years ago but I don't know if that's changed and is a rule at all levels
