Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How bad does Rooney have to get to be dropped?

Just awful, looks like he doesn't give a sh1t.

I presume that's Valencia to be sent off with a tackle like that.

    It was a complete slip.

He is a waste of space though.

I wish LVG had the balls to drop Rooney for Herrera. It's one thing that he's not scoring but his passing has been utterly shocking. Misplacing 5-yard passes.

The sort of errors that lead to a free kick goal...hopefully.

Three horrendous free kicks from United.

Mata is so weak on the ball

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

    very weak from Memphis.

I wonder if like some other games and United light up in the second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Triple sub at half time Carrick, Schneiderlin and Depay off for Herrera, Schweinsteiger and Young.

Memphis's corners have been by and large awful all season.

Of course it was a slip. Just recalling the debate over Morenos tackle which wasn't intentional either.

I think he's that 21 year old who will have ups and downs until he establishes himself.

Commentator (without irony): "I still have a feeling that Ashley Young will have a part to play today".

    Manchester United, ladies and gents.

It's a free kick. It's a corner. You would expect a least one decent one in 6 games or so

I'd be taking Rooney off before any of them, been brutal today, mata not far behind either.

Mata is the spark for this team. He is pivotal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,632 ✭✭✭✭Sand

I guess Mata and Memphis are good players again.

    Mats is an assist machine.

What's Advocats problem with the ref?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,177 ✭✭✭TheTownie

Blind with the killer pass. Not the first time this season. Saving what has been another shíte half of football.

    Was badly needed.

Poor showing really. Final ball has been poor, tempo too slow and players have been very sloppy in possession.

Another great delivery from blind who has been very solid in defence as well.

Ahh now. He's been below par this season, regardless of the assists he's gotten.

No, commenting on how they were being written off a page or two back.

He really hasnt. He's being played out of position and is still influencing the game. Imagine how good he'd be in his actual position.

He should tell his Gk and defenders to stop talking 30 seconds to take every dead ball kick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,632 ✭✭✭✭Sand

I think the game is setup nicely for the second half - United can play keep ball, and Martial and Memphis can pick off Sunderland as they push up. Also Sunderland will have been completely deflated - for all their effort, they're still losing and haven't troubled De Gea at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,237 ✭✭✭Decuc500

Sunderland's time wasting coming back to haunt them. Good stuff.

He really has. He's a fantastic player who hasn't produced near what he can. He's averaging 6 and 7 out of 10 for his performances this season so far imo.

I dont understand all the hate man utd is getting. I don't care if they good or bad just as long as they win.

Look they win today they go top and i will be extremely happy :P.
