Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Routine oil change today :D

Start car and oil is pissing all over the place due to the new filter o-ring having split. I had to refit the old one. Lesson: spend a minute generously lubricating the o-ring. I just gave it a smear of oil on the end of my finger-not enough!
The driveway is now covered in cat litter.

Decided to remove the crankcase vent valve to check it was working. No problems until I put it back in and over tightened it and SNAP. Spent half an hour getting the stuck threads out. New valve to be ordered. Lesson: don't tighten plastic components with a long wrench.

    Nightmare.
