KFC, Starbucks and Burger King confirmed to take 3 of the 4 new drive thru restaurants being built near the Clayton Hotel. 4th one still available. They'll open in the summer.

The Pizza place sbarro was due to taje 4th unit, saw it advertised as available, so they must have pulled out.

Out of interest, has anyone being in the area to see the progress on the 4 drive thrus? Do they look like they are at nearly finished/signage up stage or is there still a bit to go?

On another note, South Dublin Co Co wanted Dunnes to close their Cafe Sol unit in LV as it was a breach of planning but An Bord Pleanala sided with Dunnes and said as long as the cafe is within the store and opens/closes at the same time as the main Dunnes, then it is not treated as a stand alone cafe and therefore does not require planning permission.

While they went up really quickly initially, progress has slowed a lot. One must have pulled out as one of them is being advertised now.

Burger King advertising for staff for their new drive thru in Liffey Valley so must be opening soon. Any sign of activity on the other 3 units beside it?

Signs and Branding went up today on the Burger King Unit and KFC Unit. Nothing on other 2 yet.

Burger King opened just now... very busy ...in testing the grub!!

KFC will be maybe a day or so behind.

Other two units way behind, one still available.
