Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Same treble. Lets hope it comes in.

Also Leicester, Spurs, Stoke, West Ham and West Brom/Palace draw in a smaller stake.

    Clean sheets
    Southampton @3.25
    Leicester @2.37
    Stoke @2.2

    And preston dnb @2.25

    Will do for me today

West Ham win btts @ 4.5
    Leicester win btts @ 3.3

    And a small double @ 14.6

    Hannover DC @ 2.35

they have one of the longest losing streaks in Europe at the moment: 8 losses in a row. Didn't wanna take them cuz they have almost no chance of staying up but there's no other team on a long losing streak playing today.

Do you keep a record of profit/loss on these bets? From looking at the thread you seem to hit a lot of winners

Gonna log any LOI bets I have this year here if anybody wants to follow :

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=98873783#post98873783

Wanted to have Cork DNB today as my 1st, but odds have come in a bit too much since Wednesday from about 2.00 to 1.75

  • Registered Users Posts: 861 ✭✭✭jbt123

Iirc stoke were priced at about 4/6 earlier in the week. I see now they are drifting to 10/11 best price. If it keeps like this they'll go off at evens.

Not sure what to make of it. Opinions please ladies and gents....

I haven't kept a record of it, but on the long run it does seem to be a winning strategy, I'd say these bets come in 2/3 of the time. 5-7 losses really seems to be the limit for most teams in just about any league. Off the top of my head, only Hannover (8), Skalica (9 but won yesterday) and Maccabi Netanya (9) have gone past that limit. Then you get the odd "hopeless" team like Ayia Napa in Cyprus with 10 losses or St Andrews in Malta with 19! losses in a row.
Dutch teams seem to be an exception to this "rule" so I'm not counting them (most of my losses have been because of Dutch teams)

chelsea, stoke leicester enhanced on sky bet to 8/1 from 5/1

If I had to guess I would have said you were hitting around 2/3, just from browsing the forum every so often, but wondered would that be a correct assumption.

Do you always go level stakes? Or if a team losses you a bet would you increase incrementally until they won a bet?

I used to do that a lot but found that it's the quickest way to lose all your bankroll, I still do it sometimes though especially after several lost bets. Now I try to go level stakes most of the time.

Good man there Sergio. Snuck in at the end for the usual. Bit skinny odds for a booking but he's mad for getting in the book.

I had over 3.5 real corners Inplay not 1 in the game the final 38-39 mins , there the root of all evil those bets if ever there was any, perfect conditions too being 0-1 down and not one.

Going with BTTS in Liverpool v City today @1.72 on Betfair.

Always lands in the H2H and will have even more chance of landing if Caballero starts today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Rumours going around that Caballero will be starting for City in the cup final. After his last performance, Liverpool at 2/1 looks enticing.

    Olimpo DC
    Caen +1.5
    @ 1.68

Olimpo have lost their first 4 games in the Argentinian league and have a new coach.
Caen are playing St Etienne who should be exhausted after spending so much energy against Basel and who might not have recovered from the undeserved loss in that game

As a United fan, I'm letting pessimism dictate today's bets.

    Welbeck wincast, 4/1.

Something small on Arsenal, Liverpool, Swansea DC, 17/1.

    how much was the stake?
not sure but spurs are due a loss and the same thing might happen to spurs that happened to everton at home to swansea end up losing

Only 20quid. Just don't see much of a goal threat on the spurs bench and swans should be fitter.
