Yep, I think everyone is on the Toon tomorrow. At least all the shrewd ones anyway.

    Le Havre @ 1.75

good team, good coach, pretty strong at home, desperate to get promoted after the HUGE failure of last season (they won the final game 5-0, one more goal would've seen them promoted). As for Nîmes, they're a good team but they've lost Mounié and Koura, ie the players who scored all the goals for them last season.

I'm interested in what people's opinions are of the new pp kicker bet. I tried it for the first time withvthe spurs game today and it actually clicked!

Basically, place a bet on a team to win and you have the option of placing a kicker bet, which is basically backing -1, -2 and -3. The odds vary depending on the win odds

Spurs were evens to win , below are the payouts for the kicker bet

    Tottenham
    Tottenham v Inter Milan
    Friendlies
    05 August 2016 16:00
    Pending

Team wins by: 2 goals 3 goals 4+ goals
    Potential Returns: €10.45 €20.90 €52.00
    Number of lines
    1
    Stake per line
    €5.00
    Total stake
    €5.00
    Freebets redeemed
    €0.00

I know it's after timing, but I'm interested in what people think. Also you cannot cash out kicker bets.

They wouldn't be there if the bookies didn't make money off them. Useless bets. Absolutely useless.

More or less expect NAC to win pretty comfortable against Jong Utrecht.
Oldest player for Utrecht is 21 and NAc is 1 of the favourites for the title

    NAC -2 AH @ 1.925

1st bet of the season is Anass Achahbar AGS @ 4.33 (bet365)
Only 3.8 on 888 but there you ll have the benefit that if he doesnt start, your bet is void.
Pretty sure he ll start but if he doesnt he will come on at 1 point for sure.
Former Feyenoord player who scored some absolute beauties for them. If he had been 15 centimeter taller he would be Hollands no 1 centre forward at 1 point.

    He starts.

I had those useless bastards in a double with Le Havre. After spending big on season-long bets, I'll give my wallet a rest with this losing streak I'm on.

I always think when everybody is on the same bet it tends not to be as comfortable as people think.

Newcastle was the first one of the season. Will post others when I notice value on the underdog team.

The way I was looking at it was :

    First game of season
    Home team at 5/6
No form to go by everybody thinking Newcastle with the easy win.

    5/6 +1 Felt like value

Annoyed at myself tho, noticed Galway were playing Dundalk was going to back the Galway handicap and forgot :( Figured Dundalk would still be celebrating.

But I suppose I'll take the winner.

Not the greatest of odds but it might be the highest odds you ll get this season on a home win versus Excelsior.
    Twente - Excelsior > Twente @1.66

Excelsior lost 5 or 6 players who were responsible for 30 of their 33 goals last season.
And Twente still has Ziyech on the pitch.

    Lyon +1.5 @ 1.40

I really think PSG are weaker this season, Ibra who scored 38 goals last season has been replaced by Jese who only scored 5 goals for Madrid last season... Thiago Silva is injured and won't play tonight, that's big loss for PSG as Lyon have some really good players up front. Cavani is also injured (not a big loss though as he's an awful awful finisher) and will likely be replaced by Ben Arfa, I'm a big fan of his but he's not a striker and he's been poor in that position in pre season. Aréola will start in goal tonight, imo he's extremely overrated, he was terrible at Bastia.
Lyon haven't lost anyone (except Umtiti to Barcelona LOL) and have Fékir back from injury, he's a great player and is expected to start tonight

I know. I might try and see if I have the discipline to only bet on leagues that are up and running. Leave the main European ones for another few weeks until some sort of pattern emerges.

    Yes, but it is Sparta.
It is on an artificial pitch and Ajax has never lost on plastic.

Really dont think they drop points there so -1Ah is at least a void.

That said, i couldnt even dream of a 5-0 win for Feyenoord away to Groningen and that is just happening too.

Nice to see Claudio sticking with his original team minus Kante!

Starting XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan (c), Fuchs, Mahrez, King, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Ibrahimović, Rooney, Martial

    Leicester over 4.5 corners 6/5
    Leicester & BTTS 7/1
