Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    and an accumulator

    Ajax won 3-1

Groningen...well.... 5-0 for Feyenoord and a ref who decided to spare them a yellow here and there that would have been given with 0-0
    So no Hateboer either

Had a few quid in my 888 poker account so stuck $30 on United today at 9/10.

Decided to go all out on the same site and stuck $60 on Leicester away to Hull next weekend at 11/10.

If that comes off Im very tempted to lump it all on United away to Bournemouth at 7/10.

If you don't have an end game then of course you will but I wouldn't be planning to keep it going.

The united bet was on a whim but the Leicester one was more calculated. They still have their entire title winning team in place (barring Kante) and Hull are relegation fodder and don't currently have a manager. Slightly better than evens was too good to turn down IMO.

Of course Leicester could have a howler and that would be that, same as any bet, there are no absolute guarantees.

Doubling that Leicester win with Liverpool to score over 1,5 at Arsenal next week( @2.63)

Arsenal will be in some trouble in central defence with Mertesacker out, Koscielny coming back late after the euro's and Gabriel picking up an injury yesterday, all 3 not available or Koscielny must be starting the season earlier than planned.

Any idea who will partner Kos if he's back?

Coquelin maybe? Wenger may go shopping for a CB this week. Either way the centre back positiob could be their weak link next weekend.

    From Arseblog
Having lost Per Mertesacker for months, and with Laurent Koscielny's late arrival back from the Euros ruling him out of the Premier League opener, we're now down to Calum Chambers, Rob Holding, or Krystian Bielik as our central defensive options for Liverpool.

    Sevilla +0.5 AH @ 2 tonight

Real without Keylor Navas, Pepe, Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. Benzema doubtfull.

Sevilla with some changes compared to last season and a new playing style introduced by Sampaoli. Really hope we get something similar like last year, Sevilla - Barca 4-4 (4-5 AET)

I fancy Sevilla to win tonight, Real are missing all their big name players which makes me wonder how interested they are in winning this cup at all.

Sevilla will want to win it for sure, so I'm going with the following

    Sevilla SW €50 @ 3/1

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,888 ✭✭✭9de5q7tsr8u2im

Real Madrid v Sevilla Under 3.5 Total Goals
    Derby -1 AH

    Double

    2.42

Really hope Real v Sevilla game goes unders since RM missing a lot of key goalscorers and playmakers, but i think this is a 50/50 shot.

Derby need a win to build some momentum going into this saturdays match after a goalless draw at home to Brighton.

Not as many goals as i hoped for but main bet won

    That was ****ing harsh.

Despite that equaliser bringing in my big over 3 gl bet, i wasnt too well pleased as i had Sevilla @3.8 doubled with Feyenoord -2AH for sunday against Twente for just over @10

    Will still take that.

Feyenoord -2,5 AH at home to Twente @2.85
Or -2 AH @2.35 if you like to play it a bit more safe.

Twente was so poor against Excelsior and Feyenoord surprised friend and enemy the way they disposed of Groningen away. Traditionally pretty tough away game there.

Then there is this Twente saga that probably is more a supporter's thing than a player's thing but Twente managed to make themselves the most hated club in The Netherlands with their fraudulent ways of dealing over the last 5 or 6 years.
You dont want to be the most hated team in Holland in an away match in the Feyenoord stadium when you are a very young and inexperienced team.

Tom Dumoulin gold medal time trial cycling at the moment.
No idea about odds, just know it is on now and he won a few time trials in the Tour de France.

He has a broken wrist though.

    Edit:

    Nope, Bronze.

Any reason not to bet the house on Leicester at Evens this weekend? Hull with no manager, not signed anybody, sold their best player, at least 4 starters out with injury....

I see no reason and a lot here including myself will be on no doubt which will lessen their chances somewhat
it'll hopefully be a nice boost ahead of the 3pm games

I feel really good about Luton tonight. Villa still seem like they lack any convidence (which was thier big issue last year), and Luton are full of it after a bunch of wins both this year and last.

Hull only have 1 fit CB, and only had 9 first first team players during pre-season.
