Ok so my value bet last week was Everton over 3 corners vs Arsenal and that came off grand. But this week I think I have an even better one.

Norwich over 3 corners @evens with PP

I can't believe the price that Paddy Power have for this. Lets take a look at Norwich's recent corner count:

    16 away to Everton
    13 home to West Brom
    7 away to Newcastle
    17 home to Leicester
    5 away to West Ham
    4 home to Brom

Now the reason for only 5 and 4 in the last two mentioned games is because they were in the lead for the majority of those games and didn't push forward so I wouldn't worry about them because City will undoubtedly lead for most of the game tomorrow. City have conceded 5, 6, 12 and 7 corners in their latest games (3 were at home). They conceded 7 to Bournemouth, so they do tend to give away a few corners, even against weak opposition.

Norwich have a new-found love for corners it seems and I mentioned after the Everton game that I needed to back them in the future. I'm not saying this is a sure thing, but I am saying evens is a great price, even better than evens on Everton corners last week. Bet365 are only going 4/6 on over 3 Norwich corners and 11/10 on under, that says a lot in itself. I'm also gonna back over 5 Norwich corners @7/2. Any overs market for Norwich corners is priced well at the minute imo.

2 corners so far 30 minutes gone

Followed this too. Still two at HT so hopefully there is a repeat of that in second half.

    Anyone watching the game?

Think il have a bit of man city -1 at 6/4.

I don't think you would strike that bet if you had watched the first half. City finding it very very difficult to breakdown Norwich who are defending deep and leaving zero space.

I'm even surprised Norwich have 2 corners with the scoreline 0-0. I was expecting an early lead for City. Hopefully they score soon and the bet should come in no problem then because Norwich will have an incentive to attack. Still though, it's going well!

Now that's a phrase I haven't heard in a long, long, time. :pac:

I put your recommendations in a set of 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and a five-fold (including Northampton), at least I made some money back, but Northampton screwed me. :/

    Getafe +2 against Barca @ 5/6.

Getafe's home form this season has been pretty good. Barca's away form has been very poor.

Was that the permed Yankee bet? Was looking at it earlier, wish I'd taken it now.

    Bastia @ 2.90
    Bastia -1 @ 5.75 small bet

Bastia are in crisis right now, the supporters are unhappy and boycotted the league game in midweek. BUT this is the perfect game to bounce back, we're MUCH stronger at home than away from home, we've lost our last 2 home games but those were against PSG and against Rennes in midweek but we lost on purpose fielding a weaker team as today's game is key for us. There's a lot at stake for us today and I can't see us lose at home in such a key game.

    Thanks Las.

Sometimes you should let the heart win over the head.

The Strongest away is 1-0 up just before HT.
And conceed 2 later goals for t HT/FT flip flop
Home team was down to 10 after 20 mins and that put me off on taking them to win @ 41

    Anyway...

Really like the @1.75 on betfair for Real to win to nill against Las Palmas. Only conceded 3 goals in all competitions this season so far. I Don't trust the handi today with champs league in a few days.

For Chelsea v Liverpool the Liverpool DC @1.8 looks kinda miserable to me so have taken small on the draw @3.6

For bookings Costa, Can and Skrtel all come into this fixture with history. Will take Costa @2.5 to be booked if he starts. Such a big game for Mourinho and Costa is his Pantomime Villan embodiment.

Skrtel is best priced @2.88 for a card in the bookies but @3.6 on betfair. I think that's a great price on the exchange and will be taking it too.

Good luck with any bets lads.

Real win 3-1.. No Ramos means weaker defence. Next time pre champs league I'll be backing half with most goals :first half. It was over 2/1 yesterday. They wanted job done early and take foot off the gas second half.

As I mentioned to P Walnuts on live thread, had Can, Costa and Skrtel all in mind for cards.. Left out Can in my bets.. And sure enough he's the only one to get a booking. Sods Law.

Didn't see any games yesterday but from the MOTD footage it seems Costa and Skrtel should have been booked. Costa possibly red too.

ADO over 4,5 corners at home to Feyenoord.

Only once at home they didnt get 5 or more and only 1 team didnt manage to get 5 at home vs Feyenoord. That was Heerenveen, had 4 after not had the ball in the first half at all.

I'd doubled Costa and Lucas booked at 5/1. Went spare when Costa's kick out went unpunished.

Coutinho at 18/1 next goal when 1-1 made up for it though

Feck, didn't see your update on cards which landed easily. Did over 9 corners total which also landed so that would have been a nice double.

Edit : A red thrown in there for added measure. Some lad stamped on the calf of a Feyenoord player. Filthy stuff.

Sunderland corners useless! Had a feeling they would be, stupid bet and nothing with the free in-play bets either!

Anyway, I'm a lot more sure of Bournemouth over 4 corners @6/5 in this game. Southampton should lead for a lot of the game. 50 on with PP and free 10 in-play.

Looking at the premier league this weekend I've gone for:

    Man City -1 4/6
    Southampton 4/7
    Spurs 4/9

    Treble is just under 3/1.

Potty prices enhancement from PP looks ok too: Man city, Everton & Southampton to win 5/2.

Looks like the 5/2 is in now which means I'll break even. Kolorav got a lot of abuse when he missed that penalty yesterday evening.
