Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just curious what the logic behind this is? They havn't won in 6 games bar an extra time win in the cup against salford and are fourth bottom of league 2, Not criticizing just curious !

Lawro fancies West Ham and Bournemouth to lose to Championship opposition. You'd really want to see what line-ups the 'big boys' are putting out to predict these upsets but that's too much like work for me.:P
. He could be on to something with Birmingham alright if Howe decides to rest players for the pl game during midweek. Might throw them in a trixie with the other two I mentioned above. Can't see wolves beating west ham though.

    Right lads.

Looks like a tricky day of punting.

Any value out there or nice chances?

At work and only had a quick look but would enjoy a nice win. So all bets appreciated. And I'll follow a few.

Just the pp special man u, man c, West ham 4/1 for me. Weakened teams makes it a lottery

Kind of fancy Brighton at 4/1 I know there form is fairly crap at the minute but 4/1 seems like a good price to me for a small bet

    smaller on sw at 4/1

    Levante DNB @ 1.50

5 defeats in a row for them

Aston villa literally have their first team out, if they can't beat a 2nd division team they might as well just give up in the premiership..

I think it's because it was absolutely bucketing down in Hartlepool, and there were fears (now unfounded) that the match would be called off.

Paddy Power Special for me today

    and also this double

    Ipswich @ Evens
    Arsenal - 1 @ 10/11

    Good luck to everyone.

Nottingham Forest are 21/20 at home to QPR. They've only lost once in their last 10 league games (are on a run of 3 draws in a row, however). But QPR have lost twice and drawn once in their last 3 matches and are fielding a second string side, according to Jimmy Floyd.

Arsenal normally give Sunderland a good pasting. They're 10/11 -1 and Wenger can point to this has his only trophy with a while so must be a fan. Sunderland have a much bigger concern (i.e. avoiding relegation) and Arsenal beat them 3-1 a month ago in the league.

Fancy Ipswich too. They're 6/5 with Betfair. Their home form isn't brilliant but they're far too far ahead of Portsmouth in the league standings to be better than even money. Furthermore, they were unlucky to draw Southampton in the same stage last year and managed a respectable draw in the first game, before losing the replay. Their form is 6W-2D-2L in the league at present. Don't envisage them succumbing to a cup shock.

Lyon are playing for the 1st time in their brand new stadium today, they also have a new coach who started by winning 7-0 in the Cup vs some 5th div team. The previous coach was reportedly hated by many players which could explain their poor results. Lyon have one of the best squads in France on paper. They decided to inaugurate their new stadium today prolly cuz Troyes is an awful team.

    Lyon HT/FT @ 1.78

    Lyon & Real Madrid win @ 1.51

    Already on pp special

So just a small bet for interest in a few of today's games, over 50/1 :D

    West brom
    Southampton
    Watford
    Hull over 1.5
    Stoke over 1.5
    Arsenal over 2.5

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,973 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

I went for the Ipswich/Forest double at around 9/2.

Went with overs in 3 games.

Had a wedge on the following games over 1.5 goals.

    2.6 Boyles best price.

    Ipswich v Portsmouth
    Forest v QPR
    Hull v Brighton

A lottery as it's the cup.

Max bet €19.60 on the PP treble. Wasn't going to do the Skybet one as the enhancement was only less than half a point better than elsewhere but had two free tenners with them so threw them both on for bet to nothing.

    Sevilla v Athletic Bilbao

This sounds a very corner happy fixture to me. Just a pity its not on tomorrow as rain is due in Sevilla over two days from tomorrow.

Corner count in last 6 H2H

    13, 12, 8, 17, 5, 9

over 10.5 corners is evens on bet365

I'm going to go with over 11.5 corner @2.50 on bet365

    Real v Deportivo La Coruna

In the wake of the defensive football they all hated under Benitez I'm expecting Real to go very attacking under Zidane.I think this opens the door for conceding one too.

    BTTS is @1.97 on Betfair

Real Win and BTTS is @2.5 on Boyles.

Think today could be a day for inplays. Hopefully a few quid to be made when the favourites go a goal down. Bar the PP special and a small Towell anytime i'll be sticking to inplays.

Strong teams from Man City and West Ham.

Went for the max bet on the PP special.

Wycombe were close, might just stick with the pp special and rue any giantkilling great odds team that win!
