Facebook games shut down

Does anybody have any good reason why all of the GOOD Facebook games were shut down during the years 2011-2015? Examples:

*Geo Challenge - my favourite game ever
*ChefVille - I know it was loading slow at times but it was a great game!
*PetVille
*Crime City
*Know-It-All Trivia

I really hope somebody has a reason 'cause I just don't understand why they'd shut down the best games and replace with such ****e ones!

I doubt a high enough number of people play them any more. Such games have generally become mobile apps.

Probably because anyone with half a brain blocked every friend request to play these time-wasting pieces of garbage games.

But I mean games like Geo Challenge, not like Pirate Kings or FarmVille?

Mafia Wars used to be good with Las Vegas but now it's complete **** and I've stopped playing it for 2 years now. So since I don't play it, I don't get any notifications!
