Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Must win for us. I think we'll do it with ease for some reason.

A must win. If United don't win here the pressure will ramp up on LVG especially after losing to a poor PSV side.

    A must win x10.

Draw or defeat and United are in spot of bother.

A nervy United win is my prediction

Wolfsburg have been below par away from the VW Arena. I fully expect a home win but you don't always get what you expect :)

    2-2

Wolfsburg have a good team, going to be a tough one this

Both teams to score, I think United will just edge it

Bumping this as there's subsequently been another one created

Hopefully Martial can end his goal drought and help secure the 3 points.

Very nervy win ahead I reckon, wouldn't be surprised to see Wolfsburg score first even..

    Hope Martial shines..

    Ooooooh a Bet hehe

    I say a Charity Bet €10

You choose a score and I choose a score

Loser pays a €10 Charity bet

If both of us are losers we both place Charity Bets of €10

    You can pick first :)

Funny, 2 match threads for Uniteds game tonight. No match thread for Chelsea or Arsenal CL games last night from what I can see! They clearly saw it coming :)

Can you post in superthreads now about a match during a match? I remember there was mayhem over that a few years ago.

If memory serves the issue used to be people posting about a match in a superthread when the match thread was closed for clean up/mod action.

On that note, I can't even remember the last time a match thread had to be closed mid game for shenanigans.

    De Gea
    -Darmain
    Blind
    Smalling
    Young-
    Schneiderlin

    Herrera
    Rooney
    --Mata
    Martial
    Depay--

What I would like to see.

Ahh I see. cheers. Here's the policy on superthreads post.

I totally forgot about this game. I am thinking our style of football is more suited to European games. At least I hope so...

Yeah I think so too. The team will be the one I said with Bastian replacing Herrera.

United 11: DDG, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Rooney, Memphis, Martial

    No Herrera. :(

He was never going to change the side apart from Carrick unless there was an injury.

I'm loving the consistency in selection even if I'd personally fit Herrera in somewhere.

I admit having a big smile seeing PSV topping the group

Must win for Utd ... I marked Wolfsburg as the second strongest in the group after United beforehand

I'm not sure if Herrera is injured, but it was reported that he missed yesterday's training session.

Rojo still injured? I would have expected him back by now. even for the bench.

LVG said he has a slight injury.

Like the look of that team!

I think we'll do enough to win this tonight and go on and do a real number on Arsenal at the weekend. Tonight's game will be the tougher game of the two.

2-1 Utd. Memphis and Rooney. Dost for Woflsburg.

Lovely goal but very poor defensively out at the touch line and then awful from Valencia.

Valencia keeping the entire world onside there, Christ.

He would have been onside even if Valencia wasn't there.

2 players went out to the wolfsburg player on the touch line and were beaten way too easily

Valencia an easy scapegoat, but he looked onside even if you take him out. Just great buildup and run.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,052 ✭✭✭ParkRunner

Nearly every time Valencia plays right back he is at fault for a goal, way too much of a liability as a defender!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Valencia. Wow.
