Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Haha.

Why are Utd fans so touchy in here tonight. They were played off the field for large parts tonight. Take off the red goggles for two minutes and realise there are still big problems at Utd.

More touchy at you not crediting Wolfsburg for being a good team to be honest.

We know there's work to be done and improvements to be made, if you read the Megathread (I know you do from time time) then you'd know that. We're just happy we won. And your concern here is nothing to do with the improvements the team needs to make.

But make no mistake, we all know why you're really here, and we're quite entertained by it.

But we know you can do better, does that not concern you? ;)

Didn't see the game but I'd kill for similar standings in group F tonight!!!

Yes I was harsh at them but they shouldn't be dominating at old Trafford.

United haven't been great, but we got the points and that's what matters. We have a massive game on Sunday and the subs probably took away our intensity. The best team won tonight and that isn't even a debate.

We are use to scoring three goals a game while playing poorly, we failed tonight, enough to make any United fan unhappy.

Your Liverpool thread is in bits. Plaqued by disgust about your own team

Now you try to bring this rotten **** to other supporters threads. Like a ****in sickness.

Why not go back to your own thread and bring your comments with you. Its more suited to your thread.

They had a decent 20-30 mins, that isn't dominating.

Nah, United were dominant for the first 15 too. The Wolfsburg goal came out of the blue and Wolfsburg generated no real threat until the last 20 minutes when a lot of young and rusty players were subbed in.

"Let's look at all the clear cut chances Wolfsburg created in the second half"

Cue a reel with a save from De Gea, a screwed shot wide from a tight angle by Schrule and a bit of a scramble in the box that lead to nothing. :pac:

There is an overreaction I'll agree with you there.

United were the better team overall but lucky not to be down to ten for the last 5-10 mins and last 15-20 mins they were second best by a long shot.

Anyone else panic when Smalling landed awkwardly in the 2nd half going for a header when he was nudged? Can't afford to lose him

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

Mata saying they were tired, hopefully not too tired as Utd have got a tough month ahead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,406 ✭✭✭Korat

Utd should have won that game comfortably. It was a bit worrying that they couldn't string a couple of passes together and control possession when they really needed to.

    United are poor

    United have poor players

United are poor in the premier league, which they are top of

United are poor in the champions league group, which they are joint top of

Very nervy win ahead I reckon, wouldn't be surprised to see Wolfsburg score first even..

    Hope Martial shines..

Didn't catch game due to being on at 4am or something.
Was I in and around right in prediction? bar Martial playing particularly well?

Great to see Mata contribute again too.

Anyone can summarise in a couple words?

    Cheers
