Third Party Lodgement Question

    Hi, 

    When using a third party lodgement machine at a BOI branch to lodge cash, what credentials are required? 
    I presume it's just a combination of IBAN and BIC or account number and sortcode? 

    Does the lodger require identification or anything? So can a person lodge into another persons account anonymously?

    Hi jack_gllghr,

    Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.

    To make a third party lodgement via LATM you will need to enter the account number and sort code of the account you are lodging to. You will then be given the option to enter a narrative/reference which will appear on the statement.

    You are not required to have photo identification with you when making a lodgement.
