Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Red Mills Engage Feeding Guidelines

Hi all, I'm trying my dogs on the Red Mills Engage brand as a trial (€140 p/m for Royal Canin is getting a bit too much!) but the feeding guidelines are quite vague. Example:
    4-10kg: 100-170kg
    11-25kg: 170-325kg
    25-32kg: 345-400kg

It doesn't break it down per kg of dog weight and I am SHOCKINGLY bad at maths so I cant figure it out!

Any advice / mathematician skills welcome :)

Also does anyone feed their dogs this brand and how do they like it?

    Thanks!

    What weight is your dog?

Depending on the weight them go with the scale of feeding guideline. So a 25kg dog would get 325g and say a 20kg dog would get in between 170g and 325g if you get me?

I assume that should be grams, not kilograms, for the daily portions?! :D

It looks like you need to be looking at about 13 to 20ish grams per kg of body weight, the larger the dog, the lower the grams per day, there or thereabouts.
But you know yourself, you're better off not glueing yourself to the directions on the pack, and keep and eye on the dogs' waistlines over time.
