That would be my effort at a translation, but I reckon there's probably a more natural way of putting it.

Depends on your interpretation of the third last line.

Does the void "hold you dear" or "hold you, dear"?

In that case, something like

"Beireann an folús greim dil ort,
Cosúil le leannán mallaithe,
Ceangailte ag eagla anama"

Dil could get that meaning across without having to add a whole other phrase to the line.

On slightly related note perhaps Duibheagán could potentially be used for void, though be more if you were thinking of Abyss (the abyss of the sea etc.), though I see it can be used for "bottomless pit" as well.
