Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can't blame Rodgers too much tonight. Players train every day to put away simple chances like that.

Yes, Rodgers can't be directly blamed for Origi's poor finishing.

But tonight is yet another symptom of the general malaise.

Bigger picture. Don't look at individual errors and just blame them in isolation. Rodgers will nearly always be off the hook then.

Pedro Chirivella would be a better option than Rossiter right now.

Did we draw 1-1 at the weekend?
    Forgot all about that.

Fourth 1-1 in a row for Liverpool?

If you ignore the results that weren't 1-1 in between, then yes.

    Well done.

    Slim pickings for the lads.

Honestly, delivery on free kicks and corners beggars belief. How can it always be so bad?

    By a MILE...

tho really we should just have kept Illori and played him at the back with Can in midfield.

    I'm angry watching this ****e

If Sturridge plays, we win this comfortably. That's the difference, that's what "top" or "elite" strikers bring. Suarez, even easier win.

The rest blast away time after time without scoring.

The goal was schoolboy defending. The back 3 has to move as a unit, embarassing after all the focus on poor defending how uncoordinated they are.

Stop picking players in positions they cant play and hoping they get better!

Why is Ibe playing and Marko on loan? Why is Rossiter given chance after chance when he physically is not there yet, at all.

I do not understand you Rodgers, yer head is up yer hoop.

    4th game ever for Liverpool.

If you discount 123 years or so

Much better option, outshone him when they played together.

Must be lacking in the bantz department. Rossiter clearly the assistant to the regional manager....

I'm surprised you can still work up the emotion. I'm resigned to this piss that Rodgers has been serving up for close to a year now.

Rodgers' record in Europe has to be utterly dire. Can't even beat bad teams at home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,502 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Few more results like this and Garry Monk could be ours.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Seriously, someone shoot Ibe. He hasn't even got half a footballing brain. Typical English footballer, all pace and strength with zero end product.

Harsh on a young player. What's your opinion on the manager?

To be fair, FC Sion are a little better than Carlisle United.

The camera is trolling and taunting Rodgers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Boos from those who bothered to stay. Never known such apathy across the board at the club and it all stems from a man who should have been sacked months ago.

Rodgers has to go. To a man we were better than Sion, yet never looked like beating them once they equalized. Not good enough

Hopefully on the game against Rubin we will have another manager.

    This can't go on.

Well if you liked that spoof, the mother of all spoofs is on Dave now and I love it. Rodgers and Dreben.

Is there many left defending him now in fairness. I don't blame him tonight though. Horrible finishing was the fault tonight but a lot of that does come with confidence which should come from the manager.
