Super, the Kerry Crusaders do amazing work raising money for kids with special needs. I can't wait to support this event. Is there a medal or T-shirt ?

Yes, there are medals and technical top for all participants. Numbers are strictly limited to 500 though and places are filling fast.

Should be a great day out.

Routes and elevations can be found here

That's a tasty looking hill at the 10k mark in the half!!

Downhill finish though so it can be forgiven I guess...

I'd love to do this, but I doubt I'll be recovered enough from DCM to give it a proper go. I'll see how I feel in a week if it's still open.

The 10k one isn't a whole lot nicer looking either :)

Ahhhh come on, its only a gentle incline in the grand scale of things :pac:

Couldn't have it overly flat, that would make things too easy.

Take a look at my second post and there is a link to the maps and profiles of the Half and 10K.

Be great to see you down there if you can make. It. Haven't met you since GLR last May.

Cheers cc. Nursing a few niggles at the moment but might give the half a go. Big pb for you in Dublin - well done.

All, we're seeing the usual last week surge in registrations for this event.

We are strictly capped at 500. Once that is met, then we can't accept any more entries.

Its gonna be an epic day, come on down and enjoy the surroundings and gentle inclines of North Kerry. You know you want to :D

    Quick question,
are there pacers for the half on the day?

Yes, there is parking down by the racecourse on the Greenville side. Plenty of space there and thats the start line as well.

Morning bib collection is at JK Sports (front of SuperValu) from 8 to 9:15.

Bag drop is near the finish line in the Middle of market street.

    Half starts at 10am

    10K starts at 10:15 am

Enjoyed that 10k. I think the wind and rain held off a little for us. Looks like I struggled on km 4-5, was a bit slow, so came in at about 51mins.
Thanks to the organisers, a friendly bunch :)
