You live 5 minutes down the road from me and we grew up 5 minutes away and went to the same school. Too much mulled wine perhaps? :)
Plenty of coincidences there. So do you reckon Rob is your dad then lenny?

Not insinuating anything but to an outsider it would appear you are deflecting the accusation from someone else.

Come to think of it, I wondered where lenny got all that facial hair Cram. Had assumed it was something to do with Rob, but his was a lot darker than lenny's (before it went grey....)

    :pac:

Mine is ginger and grey. Not sure what either of you are hinting at.

Other than being part of a small (incredibly so) gene pool.

Are you claiming "responsibility" for all three of them??

Guess your hair's been so white for so long no one will remember what colour it started out

I remember and that's all that matters.

Anyone know what the coffee situation will be this Sunday in Swords? The OH needs some persuasion to drive me there and stand in a muddy field for an hour.

Back to CX then. Any tips on descending those steps? Cos I'm scared.

News just in. The venue for round 3 of the Kalas Classics Series on December 20th will see us back in Punchestown on an alternative course. After all the rain the last few weeks we expect it to be muddy. Fast and muddy

Descending steps in CX is actually against the UCI and CI rules

"No steps on downhill stretches" see rule about 8 down

I've not seen them in person, but from this pic they look more like small drop-offs with quite a large gap from one to the next. Nothing wrong with drop-offs. I think the rule is more to do with a series of closely spaced steps

Rode most of the course last weekend. The downhill bit in photo is fine even for a newbie like me. You can bypass the steps. Not sure if there will be any section unrideable. There is a very steep but short path to come up which will be a killer by 3rd or 4th lap. The downhill slalom should be fun ;-) will be happy to stay upright there.

Not sure I will. Thinking of bringing the camera....

Hi folks. Regarding the course for the lenister champs.

There are no steps on the course. It's all grass, tarmac or forest trail. Nothing too steep but you will need brakes.

    See you all on sunday.
