    Renewing car insurance this month.

    It appears that nononsense.ie and 123.ie are more competitive than the mainline insurance companies such as Allianz, Axa and AIG.

    Is this what other people see?

    Is the no claims bonus policy on offer from nononsense and 123 as good as the others?

    All responses greatly appreciated. :)

    When you look behind the brand or advertising name both of these are mainline insurers:
    Nononsense.ie = FBD and 123.ie = RSA Insurance

    I got my insurance through the AA this year (I think the policy is underwritten by Allianz) they were cheapest by a good bit.

    I have just spent all morning shopping on line ( 45 yr old ,full lic, full no claims, 2005 toyota avenisis). best quote for 3 rd party was allianz at €387 followed by the aa at €403 & axa at €419 .I found the comparison websites really expensive eg 123.ie €585. Im off to try a few brokers next......
