Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AMD A10 or I5

    Which is better?
I've read a bit about this and am terribly confused.

The laptop will be used for browsing, microsoft office, media entertainment [music/movies] and ideally some light gaming e.g. FIFA16, Minecraft that kind of thing.

    15.6" screen

    I can afford an AMD A10 8700P or an Intel I5 5200U

Both laptops cost around the same, which is best.

It seems that generally I5 is the king, however including the gaming requirement may give the A10 the edge?

The i5 will have a hybrid SSD and 4GB Ram
The A10 will have a standard HDD and 8GB Ram.

I don't mind replacing the drive/upgrading the Ram in the future.

    Thanks
