Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought one from the US Amazon a few weeks back. Didn't know when it was going to be released in Europe so just bought from amazon.com.

It's a class machine. Everything works great on it. I bought the remote control as well and find it handy to have that along with the game controller.

You have Nvidia GRID games on it. Basically like a Netflix for games. It streams the game rather than downloading it. Played a game or 2 on it, it works really well but needs a decent internet connection. And it's free ! for now anyway ! (think it's free for 3 months)

You can download apps through the play store too.

Yeah I have, you can download it from the Play Store. It works grand. Haven't used it too much but it functions the same as on the Minix box I had previously. Been a while since I used it previously but it's fairly snappy on the Shield.

Would still get the usual issues with streams not being available sometimes but thats no fault of the Shield TV.

Highlight for me so far is the Nvidia GRID games. It works really well.I've been playing Saints Row 3 on it and it's very smooth. There are a ton of other games too.

It's great for anything really, a really cool media hub.
