Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They've done some job of kicking us off the park... To be honest they needn't of bothered.

Good to see mourinho trying to get some urgency out of them too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

That's more like it, now they need to make it count.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

    Hazard should have scored that.

Traore, more like Ramires Jnr, wasting ball and missing chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

I like the look of that Kennedy fella. Nice mazy runs from him on more than one occasion tonight. Decision making leaves a lot to be desired but looks a good raw talent.

And it was his tinacity that won the ball back in the lead up to the corner for the equaliser.

please dont let traore take a penalty

Doesn't he take pens for Chelsea?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

Our defense is a shambles. What good is a Mourinho team if they can't defend?

Our attack is as blunt as they come, we're so painful to watch and Mourinho is 100% at fault. I know he didn't get backed the way he wanted to in the summer but this side should still be in the top 4, the deficiencies in the squad weren't that bad.

Half if not more of the squad aren't bothered playing for him anymore. I don't see him winning them back either. Doesn't exactly leave much choice.

Yeah and before this season he hadn't missed any in domestic competitions but his head isn't right. I knew once he stepped up he wasn't gonna do anything. I don't think he can currently handle the pressure of being 5th penalty taker.

If it was just the results Id be completely against sacking mourinho because as he said he has earned the right to a bad spell

But the blame game and rows mixed with the results are making his position untenable

what is wrong with Eden Hazard? talking with a mate now and we have no clue. Maybe someone here knows something we don't (my theory was "something to do with John Terry" :p )

Sacking Jose would be silly. And then what????

If he manages to work through this he'll be rock solid.

No chance of guaranteed CL this year. Give the guy a chance.

I'll admitt to really disliking him but sacking him is a bad choice.

From my viewpoint he doesn't look like he's gonna turn it round. It's only a matter of time. He looks like he's lost it - in all ways. 15th in the league with the team that won the league 6 months ago? Awful stuff.

He seems fragile. We are running out of alternatives other then firing him though. If we don't act soon the entire season is a right off. Which is pointless, because this team shouldn't be playing like this.

He really needs some time off, I would love if he could step away for a month and let Holland and Faria run things. Let him go and spend time with his dying father. Get away from everything and recharge his batteries. It's almost like he has transplanted his exhausted demeanor onto the players. Totally out of ideas against 10 men for 30 minutes.

    Another game, another loss.

The difference this time to the West Ham? we played better, much, much better but found Butland in inspired form. We had a shot cleared off the line and butland made 4 or 5 great stops. Not taking anything away from Stoke, they held on well but losing that game after how well we played and the chances we created is shocking.

Not much you can do when things arent going your way.

We were too slow in E.T.

Ball was moved side to side a lot without any penetration, to be fair to traore and kenedy, they played alright, better than the players they replaced anywho.

    Sometimes 2 in a row.
To be fair Chelsea have come a long way from this being seen as success though

I was there, and what a fantastic shirt that was.

Steve Francis, John Bumstead, Pat Nevin, Colin Pates, Nigel Spackman. Quality players, and Colin Lee had the game of his life!

Sometimes 2 games in a row.

I've not checked the math but i reckon in this year alone, we're close to the total losses of Joses first 2 seasons back with the club. :o

Yeah, the season could be a write off, but by sacking Jose I fully believe we risk a few years of torment, i'll take the one bad season
