Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know Jose won the league last season but I will never forgive him for turning us into cannon fodder.
All his good work undone in 16 games.

2-2 dissapointing, especially with a missed feckin penalty ..

Why didnt Hazard take the penalty? He could do with a bit of confidence

Oscar scored one last week, Hazard has missed two this season, before the pen I'd have preferred Oscar to take it

Given the season we've had coming back from 2-1 down to get a point is positive.

The more games I watch this season, the more I can see the seeds of this season's destruction in last season. Sure, they cantered to the title, but the other challengers were weak and every time they were asked to step it up a gear, they couldn't. And it comes back - time and time again - to leaders on the pitch.

With the players we have, this team should not be struggling for parity with Watford. We should be going through them for a short cut. We should be running up cricket scores that Brian Lara would be proud of.

I take Hot's point, the substitutions were odd. Hazard should have started. Cesc should have stayed on. But we're still ropey in defence and often toothless in attack. Bring the youngsters back for blooding, the season's a bust anyway.

This season's no better. Top 5 shipping points to the stronger midtable teams all season. No-one seems able to pull ahead. Which is why Arsenal must be kicking themselves. Any team that can put together a 10-game unbeaten stretch will run away with the premiership.

More than our season is goosed. We need player, managerial and cultural refits. As good as starting from scratch again.

As for the rest, I'm almost expecting Arsenal to win the Premiership, and for Wenger to pass the baton on to Guardiola. And the Gunners to reestablish themselves as the no. 1 team in London. We've lost so much ground. Having got away with 2012, it turns out the last few years have only been sticking plasters, and we've built little of enduring quality.

We really have to beat united tomorrow.
Probably the only team that are doing as bad or worse than us right now. I'd have mikel in there instead of fab tomorrow.

as bad as our season has been, can we not give Hiddink a chance. His first game in charge and we let in two unlucky goals against a good watford side. Ok we should be beating a team like watford but give us a chance under our new manager.

A lot of negativity still hovering over the club but we will string a few wins together especially once a new manager is confirmed and players get shipped in/out.

Aparently Fabregas hasn't travelled today amid rumours he wants to leave in January.

I’m more confident of a win tonight than I was getting 3 points against Watford.

Only drawback is if utd loose again I can’t see LVG staying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

But can you really see Jose going there?

Can't really say he'd be a huge loss.

Chelsea looking like a league 1 side. Time for a whole new team. There may be a summer clear out and rightly so.

Chasing shadows. Those players need to have a good long look in the mirror.

As bad a 25 minute performance as we've seen this season. From front to back it's been bad.

It's great to see the players attitude do a u-turn now that Jose's gone....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

At least Willian's got a kick in the hole

It's time for Chelsea to cash in on Hazard. Zero effort in helping out.

To be honest it wasn't comfortable enough to bring on RLC. The young guys will have to wait until we're a little more comfortable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,563 ✭✭✭✭peteeeed

Reckon both managers will have the sleeping bags out for the January sales

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

Could probably have done with Costa but over all we could do with a clear out.

Yip, point from an away trip to old Trafford, I'll take that all day, the way we are now.
