Guus said Pato won't be fit for a few weeks. I was hoping that the deal would get pushed through sooner and he might feature against MK Dons but that was very optimistic. I doubt we'll see him for close to 3 weeks.

Don't think he's the right level tbh, similar to van aanholt though in that he'll make a good mid table player.

That pass from Hazard to RLC was similar to the couple he tried with Remy against Arsenal. A better ball would have put him in, but like at Arsenal it was under-hit.

Roughly said that certain players were ignored or not spoken to and Guus is better. Not scathing or anything but direct criticism is so unusual it stood out.

Didn't Mata effectively say the same thing when he left? I think he said that he only spoke to his "own players" and didn't tell them what they needed to do to get in the team.

Lukker-

Most ex-Mourinho players say the same thing, if they don't feature in his plans he doesn't really communicate with them. When they are eventually needed, they don't slot in as they've been out of the loop for so long. Not exactly a holistic approach and tends to create divisions between players.
