Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What the hell just happened.

Lucas plays a beautiful reverse pass to Martin ****ing Skrtel, who supplies a dangerous first time cross into the box.

    Bizzaro world

Moreno is fairly nifty at taking corners, he really should stay on corner duty and keep Milner away

Think we are playing well. 2 up top with movement is making a big difference in getting more possession in the final third.

And what was Alan Smith talking about saying Sturridge was offside and the rule letting itself down?

    Ings in trouble, hobbling

If he wants to be a poor man's Suarez, he'll run it off.

    Ings in trouble, hobbling

Saw that too. Hopefully he will run it off.

Decent chance for him. Has to be hitting the target.

Yeah, it's really weird how playing two up front doesn't isolate our strikers, but great that Rodgers has come up with the solution to the isolated striker problem He's shown great character.

Aye, but I'm not sure it was a free. Coutinho kinda jumped into his path a bit.

    Need to see it again.

Sturridge a spectator so far basically.

Unbeaten in our last 9 minutes now.

It looks better than it is. We only have a ppg of 1 in that period. We need to turn theses drawn minutes into wins.

Should be a yellow for Barkley. Good game so far.

Being marked out of it and probably told to watch himself in case he breaks.

Harsh. He's been on the ball as much as our other attacking players; Ings and Coutinho.

Game hasn't settled enough, which could work to our favour though, if Coutinho can get us on the counter and play Sturridge through.

Nice to see the game being let flow but I can see it leading to an ill tempered second half

Ings has definitely been far more prominent than him. He's not as much a high energy player as Ings though, so it's to be expected. I won't complain much if he contributes like last weekend!

At least the team is showing the fight and effort so far befitting a derby game. We've definitely been the better team so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

This is a nice match to let the new manager see that we're actually capable of playing ball

Everton fans are the best for appealing for free-kicks. handballs, etc. They appeal for literally everything.

Hope he comes on and bangs in a goal

Good game. Two teams going at it hammer and thongs for that final Europa League place.

Didn't he join the Liverpool academy at 8 or something? Not a lot of time to be an Everton fan before that!
