Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool have had the better of it and are a little unlucky not to be leading.

    Two soft goals.

It took two great saves from Mignolet to keep Liverpool in the game, I dont know how anyone could describe Liverpool as having the better of it.

No, blame the manager who can't see his obvious limitations and chose him over two natural CB's.
Ridiculous. You can't blame a manager when a player makes a schoolboy error. It was a simple clearance away from the defence that ANY professional footballer could do, he just made a mistake.

Carragher blaming Howard for Ings' goal. "Local lad" Barkley let's the ball fly over his head and there's nothing said.

    Laughable.

It's 110% Howard's fault. The ball was headed about 3 yards from goal. Very poor goalkeeping.

Howard has made a couple as well.

Liverpool were the better team in the first half IMO. Hardly a reach to hold that opinion

I really hope Germany play Can as a CB in the Ireland game.

    Ridiculous.

Barkley has to get a touch on that, keeper or no keeper.

I think they could play his mother at CB against Ireland and still be ok.

Still the only one who I'd rely on to read the game defensively and put a foot in though.

Barkley will have to hit the ref to get a second yellow.

    Just fall over.

Ref will award a free to you.

If that was a yellow then we should all pack up and go home

Even then the ref probably wouldn't see it.

coutinho pass there looked like something youd see in the phoenix park on sunday morning.

When is Sturridge back from his injury we really could do with him in a game like this,

He's being kept very quiet by Everton generally, playing a bit deeper than normally.

Hes basing that on what he got the first yellow for, absolutely nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

    Sturridge offering nothing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Lads, i've got a feeling Coutinho has turned up at Anfield thinking the game is on there because he doesn't seem to be at Goodison.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Everton definitely the better team this half so far, Liverpool have offered next to nothing so far going forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,661 ✭✭✭Fuhrer

This game has gotten quiet, could use a hefty challenge or a shoving match to liven it up a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,319 ✭✭✭emo72

the way the match is panning out now, everton are looking comfortable and pushing it, we are running out of ideas and i cant see us hanging on for a draw. we need someone to raise their games. sturridge and coutinho not threatening much.

Going by laws of the game he should have been booked for kicking away the ball what he got it for was a joke so it was evened out

Switching the ball 15 mins into the second?

Back when I was a kid we'd play with a flat ball for hours

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

The Everton crowd have to be one of the most annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Liverpool could do with a bit of Klopping motivation from the manager on the sideline.

    Can is an abomination there.

How was that ball allowed to drop in the 6 yard box. Amateur hour defending again by Liverpool

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭Hercule Poirot

We need a goal, we need to make our current dominance count

I remember watching City in the 80's/90s/00s; for large chunks of that period, we were pitiful. Funnily enough though, it was never timber inducing!
