Are you using the traditional Touch site or the Responsive site on mobile? Could you post a screenshot please?

Touch site should display Sticky threads at the top as per normal, while the Responsive Site features them under the header "Charter & Important threads," which is just under the forum header.

Was using the standard touch site. It seemed to change to responsive by itself now back to standard again.

Big issue for me also when logging in from the phone or tablet is that when I go to view a new post in a thread it goes automatically to the first post. Thats okay when there's only a few posts in the thread but just using this thread as an example I get redirected to the first page/post. It was working okay a few weeks ago but that only lasted for a week or so.

    No probs on the desktop.

That's been brought up loads of times, including a current thread on it here, but it's just being ignored.

Has a new boards.ie layout been pushed through.

I am on Chrome. The site is now really slow and I don't like how so few posts appear on each page. A max of 7 threads it seems.

I guess this is done to push more ads.

Why change when the old one worked so well?

I don't like seeing those 2 big stickied threads at the top of every single page -
    A sponsored thread and
    AMA Talk to an escort

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Thanks

Sounds like you're on the Responsive Site - a Cookie may have gotten reset or you may be visiting from outside Ireland. If it is the Responsive Site, you should see "Legacy Site" in the top right corner of the page (next to Login / User Profile) - click this and it'll bring you to the Legacy Site.

Are there any stats on how many users and the take up of the Responsive site?

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Thank you Mark. You have solved my problem.
I must have hit a link by mistake.
Great to have the old one back.
The layout is basic but so much better and user friendly.

Don't know if this is my crappy phone or a problem noted with the touch site on boards - because it only seems to happen when I'm on boards -

Threads stall when I go to open them, and many times also when I am scrolling down - the only way to fix it is to hit back and the try again. It's like having a really unresponsive screen. This has been ongoing for the last few months.

I get the same thing or something similar using chrome on android. The website seems to freeze for a few seconds when scrolling or clicking a link and when it comes back the link click is ignored.

Ive been getting 404 errors on my phone and have just been switched over to the responsive site without doing anything myself.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Has anyone else been having problems with youtube videos not filling your screen on the touch site?

They will play but they are too small to see. They used to pop out and fill your screen.

    Noticed it yesterday.

I'm having the same problem but not using the touch site. What are you viewing the site on?

    iPhone 6 using safari.

I'm using Safari on a 5s. It's happening to me if I view videos directly on YouTube.com too, videos used to automatically go full screen but now I have to do it myself. Have a look & see if you're the same.

I thought it was a Safari problem or some setting I changed somewhere rather than a Boards thing.

We might not be having the same problem then. I'll keep messing with settings & see if I can find anything.

Unable to log in on desktop. Getting this error:
Unable to parse JSON data: JSON_ERROR_SYNTAX - Syntax error, malformed JSON

    **** Jason, tbh.

    Windows 7SP1, Chrome (incognito) btw.

Edit: Managed to log in now. Is the username case-sensitive now or something?

Seems something has gone awry with a deployment on the Responsive Site, so there may be issues for a little while. Will update again when things are resolved!

Only one person here has an iPhone, but had no issue going full screen. Will make it harder to fix if we can't replicate, I'm afraid.

It seems this isn't isolated to iPhones alone. We're having it happen with Chrome and Android, so there goes the possibility of suggesting you get an Android phone as a fix :D

Sign would have been impacted by the issue we had earlier today - it should be sorted now, if you are still having issues please let us know though.

Is anyone having probs posting https images on legacy? Last week it seems to have stopped working. Today it's still having issues.
For instance, I attempted posting this on a forum (green things we were posting btw), but had to locate a different image without the s (only http)... you can see here, it doesn't display an image:

    HTTPS:
    image?id=597017107746&t=35&plc=WEB&tkn=*Wl0W8mkBTgGzf-suxuaPhFqHXrQ
    ^https://i.mycdn.me/image?id=597017107746&t=35&plc=WEB&tkn=*Wl0W8mkBTgGzf-suxuaPhFqHXrQ

    HTTP:
    260805666.jpg
    ^http://www7.0zz0.com/2010/08/01/01/260805666.jpg

Why is this happening? Never had this issue before last week. Thanks.
