Found one of these in a shoebox in my bedroom press yesterday evening.

Maybe putting one in the meter will help?

Rightio all, the time warp issue of seeing notifications for posts you've already read or clicking in to a thread to see new posts that then seem to have disappeared should be gone now. There may still be some SQL or 404 errors for the time being. Thanks for your patience.

    there may be?
they've been non stop on the touch site since yesterday, it is unusable.

    EDIT:
also this appears on desktop when trying to post

It actually seems much worse tonight than previous, for every one good page I'm getting 15-20 failed pages with 404 or SQL errors

Touch is mostly fine for me at the moment. No real issues.

I haven’t been able to view the ‘My Threads’ on it all evening. SQL errors.

    Woo....now we get Cloudflare!

Honestly, the whole things is working perfectly for me on touch right now.

I had a Cloudfare about 10 minutes ago too and a couple of SQLs. No Groundhog Day moments though.

    I’m using touch site.

Morning all, the team had to make some changes late last night which should have improved things for you. If you come across any new issues please post them here.

Any feedback on what went wrong Niamh? It seems to be recurring problem at weekends lately.

One of the database slaves was out of sync as far as I know from my non-tech understanding of it. It's not an issue specific to weekends, just no one about to catch it early on the weekends I'm afraid.

Hyperlinking to this post- brings me to postid 3767 (about 20 posts or so earlier) on this thread. Also getting an abnormal number of Cloudflare checks (which are passing- but there are a lot of them).

Edit: Also- after posted- my post doesn't show up- but if I hit refresh- it suddenly appears.

To me, it appears that one of the servers in the cluster has stopped syncing with the others, so this means that if you end up on the "stuck" one, you're seeing a snapshot of Friday.

While if you end up on the other servers, you get the current posts.

Sounds like I was close with my WAG as to what the issues was. :P

What does stuck on a loop mean? I had 2-3 seconds of Cloudflare checking my connection and that was it (on 3 different connections). Are you getting stuck on that specific page?
