Hey, I've just started a course on applied biology in LIT. But I'm thinking of dropping out as I am not gone on the place, nor am i ready to start studying so soon after the leaving. I think I'd be better off taking a gap year.
But also, during the summer I spoke to a woman who did four years in LIT's applied biology & she didn't get much out of it as she is now working in dunnes stores. Since hearing this I have been put right off the course as I fear I will spend four years studying and still end up with no job.
Can anyone who has done this course in LIT please let me know how u got on during the course & after? Did u get a job out of it? If so, what was the job? Any advice would be much appriciated.
