Buying a Laptop - Do I need Windows 10 with it? (Have a Windows 8 disk)

    I'm looking at a laptop to buy, and if I buy it without an OS it'll save me over €100.

    I already own a copy of Windows 8 which I was using on my desktop. I have since upgraded to Windows 10 on this PC and I was wondering can I use my Windows 8 disc on another system and just upgrade with that?

    No...

    I suspect the "Licence" that you have is OEM and is tied to the hardware...
