Word just in: Microsoft are officially cool again!

    Following todays announcments from Microsoft:

    Surface 4 - 4k display, 16gb ram, 1TB storage, updated keyboard, glass touchpad, super slim docking station, pen with 1024 levels of sensitivity.keyboard and doc fully compatable with previous surfaces.

    Surface book - Solid keyboard, keyboard has built in Graphics acceleration. claimed 50% faster than macbook. yoga-esque hinge, detatachable tablet section that still functions as surface.

    Display dock - turn your phone into a pc. basically the production release of hardware to allow "continum" functionality to work. phone when connected will display "most" apps as their desktop equivalents. Office is showcase but supposedly some backward compatability for older apps and lots of room for future expansion


    I think they out "just one more thing'ed" Apple! Like them or hate them they are really pushing forward with new and different ideas and ways of working.
