Not sure if this is the correct place to post.

In 2013 we made a substantial claim on our house insurance. We done remedial work to the damage, we didnt make any changes to the house.

This year we had an unfortunate small claim and are now been told that we are underinsured by 23%.

what can I do to see who is right, as I dont think building costs have increased by 23% in two years.
