    Even if they are working as quoted...the noise, the vibration and the potential damage to property and "neighbour" kind of makes you think twice before committing.

    I've lost countless nights looking and designing "magnetic levitation" vertical turbines, even from bike wheels and some with multiple rotors and stators...I gave up in the end, lost time but learned a lots on how to don't do it ! :)

    Even if perfectly balanced, the wind noise on the pole would travel into the building.
