Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi does anyone know if this is a done thing or not ....
I'm looking to get all trim and bumpers on my 2005 nissan primastar spay painted to match body, but the quotes I'm getting crazy high !
Is it possible for me to do all the prep work and leave the parts into the shop for spraying ? .... would this be common practice or would the shop just laugh at me.
Or if anyone knows of a sprayer who won't charge a fortune and does a good job.
Also if anyone can direct me to some useful tutorial online that would be very much appreciated... thanks lads ! (NorthWest Ireland)

Could you actually prep it to the standard they need though?

When you're saying crazy high, how high?

Well I'd like to think I could sand as well as the next man ( carpenter in the past ) .... Crazy prize was €1000

    €1000 is perfectly reasonably.
As a carpenter yourself I'm sure you can appreciate how folk would consider the pricefor hanging a few doors to be crazy when in fact the quote could be quite competitive.

There's not much sanding to be done if the bumpers etc are currently unpainted, that won't account for much of the price.
