Slane Evening Traffic

Hello Folks Is Slane traffic always mental busy in evening times around the 5.30pm mark or so ? Specifically talking getting from the Navan side , through the village and across the junction to head for Drogheda. Thanks a lot.

It does get busy but a couple of changes of the lights and you almost certainly get through. Unfortunately its one of those places that if something happens (breakdown/accident etc) then it gets totally snarled up. I think it was Thursday this week a tractor broke down at the lights and blocked the whole place up in every direction for a good hour or more until they could get it moved.
