Bringing the girlfriend out for dinner and we've been to Milano's, the skeff, Dail Bar, Mcdonaghs for dinner so looking for somewhere different, somewhere that won't break the bank either as we're both students :P so if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it, sound ðŸ‘

Massimo's is probably the best of the gastro pub grub.

Quay Street kitchen is good too, fairly reasonable.

Il Vicolo in the bridge mills, all the pasta dishes are about €12-14 each.

Gemelle's on Quay street has a set menu, two courses (starter +main or main + dessert) for €20. You have a bit of choice for each course too, lovely food and service there, nice wine and beer.

I'd second Rouge as well, it's gorgeous food

Lunares in Woodquay. Incredible value (i.e. cheap) for authentic tapas.

Massimo's have great food and each day of the week they have a different special. Entree + a pint for a certain price. I was in Galway for 2 days a few weeks ago while in Europe for work. I went out of my way to go in there for lunch. Last time I brought my fiance over she insisted on going back multiple times. We ate there 3 times during the trip.
