Lifestyle in Ballincollig shopping centre are gone. Not too surprising with Cummins and Sports Direct either side of them.

I’d say Blackpool mightn’t be too far behind them unfortunately. They’ve always a very poor selection and never anyone in there when you’d pass. Only reason I go in is to collect stuff I’ve ordered online.

I was going to say the same about Blackpool, it's dead and stock is nearly 0. But it's been like that for ages.

The put in for planning last week to convert the second story of the Easons building to retail so looks like they are still going ahead with a Sports Direct/USC unit there

Scaffolding is gone from L'Atitude 51 so guess it's getting closer to being able to reopen.

    Oh, that's not good.
    Was the building badly damaged?.
Lovely bar for a chat and a good bottle of wine.
    Have they revamped/altered the setup.
Looking forward to returning there soon.

Dont know if it was badly damaged but I'd say a good bit of smoke damage based on the amount of smoke visible outside it at the time https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-30911513.html

It was mainly water, the fire was in the office space in the roof and most of the smoke went upwards, but the water then flooded all floors below

Looks like a new retailer/pop-up shop is opening in the former Mountain Warehouse, (before that Lifestyle Sports and River Island)

Shelving has been installed, and boxes of stock have been delivered.

As if there’s not enough junkies and undesirables in the City Centre as it is.

Eventbrite seem to be gone from the old bank building at the end of the South Mall.
Building up to let at only €250,875 yearly (€20,906 per month)
