So the Millets ghost sign is gone! Planning permission is up for Carrolls gift shop. I wonder of this will entice anyone else into the empty units on Mary Street? Strange move seeing as there is already a big shop on Henry Street.

Oh no! Such a shame to have the city centre flooded with Carrolls. Capel St is my favourite street in the city centre and the atmosphere of small, varied, independent shops extended into Mary St.
