    Hi All,

Just wondering does anyone know of city center restaurants that have a private dining area? It's for about 20 people and we'd be looking for the less expensive restaurants. It's just that we need to do a few speeches/presentations during a work do and we'd like a bit of privacy. The more central in the city the better.

    Cheers,
    Kaz

I'm pretty sure Jacobs on the Mall have a private dining area.

Amicus have a room upstairs. Food is gone to pot though

I was going to suggest Jacobs on the mall as well, or Flemings a little bit outside the city.

Soho used to have one. Probably cheaper than the options above (except Amicus). Also Market Lane might be an option - on a quiet night you might be given the upstairs area to yourselves. If there is any such thing as a quiet night in Market Lane.
Curran's also has an upstairs area.

Unlikely to get Market lane... was upstairs on a Monday night, deadest night in town a few weeks ago with a work group. There were plenty of other tables occupied up there, and downstairs was full.
