    Hi guys,

We're looking at dry-lining the internal walls of our apartment.
We've received two quotes each totally different to the other one in the mid €1400's the other in the late €3000's.

Job consists of 21sqm wall coverage, 2.8sqm window reveals. Work consists of removing existing plasterboard & batons, remove 2 x panel heater, fit 80mm insulation walls, 30mm window reveal, make good around 2 x external vent, replace panel heaters & skim.
We would supply the insulation & skip for demolition waste.

Prices above go from one extreme to the other. Based on construction industry costs 7 site experience, our calculation is that demolition would be 6-8 hrs (1 day) at general labour wage of €22 p.h. €176 for 2 people, = €352.00
Installation of insulation - professional 1 day, €240. Plastering & skim, €240 1 day for 24 sqm. Totalling €960, add additional sundries at lets say €60, total: €892.

Question: Do these time frames and costs seem reasonable?
Can anyone suggest a competent fitter & plasterer who could do this work for the industry wage?

Any other experience with having this work done and costs?

    Thanks all in advance.

    DrC

Add labour to dry-lining as one man can't fit whole 8x4 foot board. (it is possible but against H&S).
    Where the job is based?
I didn't see the site and don't know how many corners are there, but my guess is around 1000 plus VAT.
