Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whacked it with a sweeping brush.

Anyone wanna adopt a 2 year old?

In the meantime, we're in the market for a new television.
Panasonic TX48C300B looks to be the best value for what we're looking for.
489 in Harvey Norman -48 inch 1080p LED

Our dearly departed was a 51 inch Samsung so we really don't want to go down to 42 or 43 inch but we just want something reliable, decent picture at the lowest price we can get away with.

Anyone have any better ideas than the Panasonic?

Thanks for all the comments everyone, much appreciated

In case anyone cares, I didn't go with the Panasonic because It appears to be a rebadged Vestel Turkish panel and I want something reliable and of decent quality

In the end, I ended up getting a 43" LG smart tv

I got it for €430 and i'm pretty happy with it.

One issue I have is that the satellite tuner isn't automatically updating the EPG. It works fine with Saorview, but not satellite.

It's using the webos 2.0 operating system

The epg will update if you select the channel, but not if you're just browsing the epg.
If anyone has any idea how to fix it I would love to know
