Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm pretty sure it's the exact same as anywhere else.

Not so sure, they are the greatest touchlines in the wotld.

Liverpool like a wall at the back against an in form Spurs team today. Klopp will be happy with that start.

Milner has been a poor signing for the club btw. Not captain material either.

Signed for free, most distance covered in the PL this season, arguably our best midfielder this season, can run for days.

    Awful signing.

Like a wall? The amount of chances spurs were gifted? Nothing wall like about it.

I can remember two. Good early signs that Klopp has them this organised. Good times :)

It's funny how different people view games :)
I thought Liverpool were very sloppy at the back and Spurs have not been great at all, so many unforced errors.

    Who said he was awful?

    Skrtel is horrible...

If he keeps like that, I wouldn't mind seeing Toure playing with Sakho until January.

I'm not seeing any difference at the back myself. There's still a lot of mistakes and gaping holes there. Spurs have had a few really good chances gifted by Liverpool.

Few mistakes are always going to happen with a new system. The team are playing with purpose for once.

    Wrong on both counts.

Not as bad as I feared but Spurs have mostly been atrocious.

Thought they'd really come steaming at us.

This team has nothing going on up front and I can't imagine anything on the bench rectifying that.

You can't lose 4 of your 5 main attackers and pose much of a goal threat.

Skrtel really has been the weak link, not much of a surprise either, he needs to pass faster and choose the right option.

Poe's law man! Sarcastic jokes will tend to go over people's heads on the net. Especially on a volatile, serious-business board like this :p

I don't know who's bricking it more at times, Sktrel, or me watching him.

First 20 minutes you could really see what we will be all about under Klopp. We lost shape after that and reverted to type but it will take lots of time to get the players concentrated enough to keep thinking on the pitch and implementing what the manager wants. Encouraging stuff but need to get Coutinho into the game more.

Maybe like the Berlin Wall after it came down. What game are you watching? We're our usual sloppy selves at the back.

It'll take time for Klopp but if he gets the team playing like they did in the first 20 for full games I'll be delighted.

Weak up front but look good at the back. This is a Spurs side bang in form and we've given them only two chances. Looking positive thus far :)

    Milner, so slow

This is the weakest Spurs have looked up front in some time

There was 2 of them in it, Skrtel got caught

And the reason for that is nothing to do with Liverpool good pressing?

Can someone explain why Coutinho gets linked to the likes of Barca?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,510 ✭✭✭hadepsx

The fack is Moreno at the past 5 mins.

Because he scores a great goal once in every 5 games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,689 ✭✭✭bur

Lucas was a box to box goalscoring centre mid in Brazil.

    No, really.

Mignolet has been excellent this season in fairness to him.

He's had his bad moments too. Excellent is far too generous overall.

It's funny because he has had to drag that awful defence out of so many holes. Bit like De Gea last year. Outstanding performances because his defence were also useless.

Wee shove in the back there from Lamela. Not spotted.
