Smalling giving another MOTM performance. We've kept the ball very well, think a lot if that is to do with Memphis being left out, Rooney loosing it far too often however. Impressed with Martial again, working very hard off the ball and I never realised how good he was in the air, he has the full package

LVG must believe Rooney has value in the dressing room and organising on the pitch as an experienced and respected player. But Rooney has been incredibly poor for most the game so far. Its like playing with 10 men. I don't think LVG's patience will be limitless if Rooney doesn't seriously pick himself up.
