GSM alarm

    A lad in work has a wireless alarm fitted which is monitored(don't know by which company)
    He was looking to get a gsm alarm retrofitted and was told the cost would be about €500
    It sounds a bit expensive to me as its nearly the cost of a new system or am I wrong and its the price of a gsm alarm

    A lot of it would depend on the make of the system and if it's a GSM specific to that.
    You can get many generic GSM units much cheaper but some branded ones can be up to €350 +vat.
