Hi! I'm Ángela. I'm 22. I'm form Spain, but now I'm living in Cork city.

I play the traverse flute (since I was 8), tin wisthles and the bagpipe. And I'm lookin for another musician to enjoy playing. I would like to learn more Irish or tradicional music, but I like to play any type of music.

Does anybody know if there is any tradicional band or group or any pub where people play music??

Also, I'm looking for a irish bagpipe teacher.

You can contact me at: angelalrlr hotmail . com

    Thanks!! :)

It'll be difficult and expensive to get a teacher for the bagpipes, lots of bands take on beginners, maybe have a look at joining a band in your area:

It will do no harm to go to Sine E, The Gables and Corner House bars there, great sessions going on in there, look for a long haired guitarist called Dilkes and Eddie the banjo player. They would know about tutors and the like, also you could jam with these guys, you'll never know what might come out.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)
