Foreign Wife Pregnant

Hey guy's so just found out my wife is pregnant. The thing is she's from Argentina and we've just came home from Canada. Will she be entitled to any free maternity care or will she have to pay for everything, right now im signed on social welfare

Basically everything will be free for her once the HSE consider her ordinarily resident in Ireland. But even then you don't necessarily have to wait to prove this. If she attends her GP now, they'll get the ball rolling and won't charge her for visits.

For the HSE's purposes she just needs to be able to prove that she lives here right now, and intends to stay here for at least a year.

Seeing as you're on social welfare and presuming she's not working, she should apply for a medical card.
