For those of us watching the election of 2015, whether or not we are eligible to vote in it, it should be an interesting night. Stephen Harper, the incumbent Prime Minister, is still in charge, although if a plethora of polls are to be believed, he will, effective tomorrow morning British Isles time, have to think about packing those belongings of his at his official residence (24 Sussex Drive). CBC, Global TV and CTV are just some of the networks with extensive coverage. CBC's is expected to start in less than 20 minutes'.

Will Harper be able to obtain another majority, or will his days as PM be numbered? The answer may only come after the sun has risen over the British Isles on Tuesday morning.

Big push here with people voting. Massive turn out so it will be interesting to watch how it unfolds tonight. I have yet to meet a Harper supporter.

Absolutely massive swing to the liberals. NDP nearly wiped out!

It really came down to the cult of the personality in the end and Harper never had one.

The strong anti-Harper movement spoke loud yesterday. Tom Mulcair more or less said recently his main concern was to get Harper out, he did that but at the expense of his own party.

He was leading at one point, and the Liberals were 3rd. Big tune around, I have friends who are very anti-Harper and they aren't too overjoyed with the result yesterday. Probably won't be long until they start moaning about this crowd as well.

Didnt know there was a Canadian GE until I seen it lampooned on John Oliver's show.

Interestingly, to the likely dismay of the White House & Lockheed Martin, the new Canadian government will be the first country to pull out of the F-35/Joint Strike Fighter program.

The Canadian Air Force's fleet of F-18s are reaching their end of life & the Liberal party are committed to reversing the choice made by the Harper administration.
