Recirculating extractor fan and MHRV

    Hi All, does anyone have any experience in using both of these ? from what I have read , seems that without some kind of extractor over the hob, the Heat Recovery Ventilation can get coated in grease inside the tubes. which doesn't sound great.
    and because its HRV, a recirculating fan is needed

    does anyone have any recommendations ? I am trying to find a quietish running fan, and not spend the price of a family holiday ... though that is proving difficult ;o)
    If I end up with a noisy extractor i think i'll hate it forever though ..
    if its not ok to mention a specific brand or model then please just PM me
