This way he has a longer career, and he gets no yards on the physio table. He's probably not the hardiest of lads.

ya i know business decision and all that

I'd call that a pretty good season!!

Every time the panthers are on TV someone mentions how stupid the Bears were to trade Greg Olsen.

We get it. It was only like the tenth stupidest thing they did that YEAR.

He is having some game though

aaaaaaand game :( he should never have gotten in there

That is shocking defense. 3 broken tackles within the 5??

Jordan Matthews is a subspecies of Calvin Johnson that evolved on an island with no natural predators.

    :D

We seem the weakness in the Panthers run D right there.

I've a feeling this game could get crazy after that.

Matthew showed more speed than I thought he had.

Wow and a pick now, score here and you'd have to fancy the Eagles.

jesus we would have won all of our games outside of perhaps atlanta comfortably if we had receivers that could catch a bloody ball. thats that anyway giants top the division

Giants won't be there at the end of the year. Could barely beat a Dallas team with their two best players missing. Things aren't looking good for the NFC East this year.

If romo and fez get back without someone else having a massive lead and it does not look like they willCowboys will walk the division

Poor pass protection by the rookie there on 3rd down, but Palmer still had a man to go to, just didnt see him or didnt feel it or whatever.

Floyd threw a huge block on that TD run, some piss poor tackling before that though :)

That was so easy for the Cards. Ravens know they have to score here already.

If there is one thing I do enjoy though its watching Flacco face adversity. He has ice in his veins no doubt

Gotta say, the Ravens have shut them down tonight

I know they are behind but its very hard to fault the Ravens D tonight, they have been switched on and giving the team a chance. The Cards need to open a little gap early in the second half or I feel they will get bogged in to a close one, if the Ravens can clean up the penalties they will have a proper chance at this

Lets see who adjusts better at the half

Gerry Austin trying to say the call was legit, but as far as I'm concerned if anyone put a big hit on Chris Johnson before he got back to his feet and running down the field, a flag was coming every single time.

    John Brown.

The find of a stacked draft class?

That miss could cost the spread bettors!

I doubt it will end up making a difference in this game but the change in the rules regarding the PAT has resulted in a lot of misses.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Honey Badger has had some game tonight. QB's must hate him because he is so short they only see him when it is too late.

I love it personally. Not only because it encourages more 2pt attempts, but because ever since they brought the kickoff forward there was nothing more mind numbing than...

    TD
    --AD BREAK--
    XP
    --AD BREAK--
KO (for a touchback nearly always)
    --AD BREAK--

Especially when watching a stream if it was not a game Sky were covering.

It might not be over just yet! Horrific blocking on that punt.

It might end up doing more than that, 4 and a half minutes and only 8 in it! I like the Cardinals but as a Pack fan I've got to root against them (and the Panthers who I also like) for the rest of the season! Falcons too I guess, but they don't worry me as much for whatever reason.

I think if the Cards go long here they succeed but if they try to stay with the run the Ravens get the ball back.

I thought that was the point?

First they run it out of bounds, yes the first was good but they could have just ran it up the middle 3 times, punted, and left the Ravens with 20-odd seconds to score otherwise.

Then they get a grounding penalty.

Horrendous drive from Arizona. They can just be grateful they got at least one first down.

Cardinals really tried to throw it away. Amazing how they let it go so close.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

They didn't quite manage it, but that was quite some finish! Have to feel for Baltimore all the same, this loss, an OT loss, and all their other losses have been by 5 points or less (usually less). Rough season, but they'v not been as bad as the record suggests.

Another game closer to that high draft pick for Baltimore. Lovely stuff.

CJ's 60 yard run last night was a bit ridiculous, eh? I'd be furious if that happened to the Giants and wasn't called for forward progress.

The Cards got a couple of dodgy calls.
That punt return 'fumble' in the first half too

Nevertheless I enjoy watching the Cards.
I think they are my 2nd favorite team this year.

I see the Ravens lost their headsets and had communication failures in a key drive during last nights game. It's nothing new in the NFL of course, but I'm just surprised nobody has blamed us for it....:pac:
